Teeing off the month is one of the best attractions we’ve had in the wharf since April. Now that the weather is so nice, it’s time to practice your putting and head down to Columbus Courtyard for a few holes of mini-golf.
The nine-hole course is free to use, and you don’t need to bring anything. Simply come to play, and you’ll be provided with clubs, balls and a scorecard.
If you’re staying in the area for business, it’s the perfect post-work activity.
The course is open from 12pm-7pm on weekdays, 12pm-6pm on weekends.

Keeping the summer vibes going, on the off chance the weather is fantastic while you’re here, you can take part in a unique walking tour all around Canary Wharf.
With over 65 pieces of public art hidden in plain sight, the Canary Wharf Art Map is the perfect way to go for a walk in the evening and get to know the area that little bit better.
And you’d be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t make a stop for a tipple or two at spots like 28 West and Rum & Sugar.
- Date: 17th-20th August
- Venue: The o2
With three sold out nights at the o2 as part of The Sweetener World Tour, Arianna Grande is arguably the biggest name in pop right now.
We don’t usually have big concerts on in the city at this time of year as it’s the middle of festival season, but this string of shows are going to be fantastic.
With support from Ella Mai, the o2 is going to spend three nights as a pop lover’s paradise.
- Date: 29th-31st August
- Venue: The Old Royal Naval College
Summertime sees a lot of outdoor pop-up cinemas take place across London. One of the best venues to see a movie isn’t too far from our doors. Luna Cinema takes over the incredible Old Royal Naval College at the end of the month for three nights of film fun.
They’ll be showing the Tom Hooper version of Les Misérables (that’s the one with Hugh Jackman), The Greatest Showman and Oscar winning Bohemian Rhapsody.
You can find out information about what food and drink you’ll be able to get here.

- Venue: Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at The Globe
Going to The Globe in the summer is a must if you have the time.
If you don’t like Shakespeare though, don’t worry; the Bartholomew Fair will be right up your street. The comedic play is based off what used to be one of London’s biggest summer fairs back in Jacobean times.
We recommend visiting, especially in August, because you can take a Thames Clipper up the river from Canary Wharf right to Bankside; one of the best ways to see London and commute to a show we can think of.
FINA-ALI with Ali Baba
- Date: 25th August
- Venue: indigo at the o2
Making a very rare appearance in London, the unofficial ‘Godfather’ of comedy in Nigeria hosts a very special evening of comedy in the o2’s smaller theatre.
Ali Baba has made a name for himself with his unique brand of comedy, having worked in the African comedy scene for over 30 years. It’s a must-see for fans of his comedy.
